TERMS OF SERVICE

Simple terms for using FreeScanner.

Using FreeScanner

These terms apply when you use the FreeScanner mobile app, website, account, cloud sync, and related services provided by Second Wind. By using FreeScanner, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity performed through your account. Information you provide must be accurate. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Your documents

You keep ownership of documents and other content you create or upload. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, process, sync, display, and deliver that content at your request. You are responsible for having the right to scan, upload, edit, and share your content.

Acceptable use

Do not use FreeScanner to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious content, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or access another person's account or documents without permission.

Cloud services and availability

Local scanning features may work without an account. Cloud sync and the web workspace require a supported network connection and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, or reasons outside our control. Keep your own copies of important documents.

Paid features

If paid features are introduced, the price and billing period will be shown before purchase. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled under the rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat used to communicate purchase status.

Suspension and deletion

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address serious violations of these terms. You may stop using FreeScanner at any time and may follow our account deletion instructions to request deletion of your account and cloud data.

Service responsibility

FreeScanner is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every scan, recognition result, export, sync, or third-party service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as FreeScanner changes. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date. Questions can be sent to admin@secondwindltd.xyz or through FreeScanner Support.
